HI Ray, do you think judges who run for office as here in Wisconsin compromise an objective bench more than judges who would be appointed as,say, here in Massachusetts? May no matter, though. What do you think? Thanks, Bobby Vilinsky

If a judge is appointed as on a partisan basis it doesn’t matter. A liberal judge in MASS gets appointed because of expectations of how that person will, rule. It’s bad all around, thanks Bobby hope you’re well

Garcia was/is a citizen of El Salvador

After coming to US illegally, he failed to appear in courts multiple times,

was subject to removal from US twice, etc.

Whatever due process is required, he is a candidate for deportation from US

He is here illegally. He didn't fail to appear in court multiple times. It's a complicated situation with lots of twists and turns, but there are two facts: He is here illegally and a jusde ordered to can't be deported to El Salvador

Will we see some bi-partisan unanimous decisions (e.g., 9-0 Brown vs,. Board of Education) by the Supreme Court in the near future? Let's hope! Nine knowledgeable Judges looking at same same laws?
